Fixes for items checked by Amicus Extreme Validator.
If this is missing then there is an error with your Page Editor as this should be present on ALL HTML pages.
You can either check your page editor in case there is a setting for this, or manually add it to the top of all your pages with a text editor. It should be the first item at the top of the page except on a PHP page where you may have something like at the top line and the Doctype should be after that.
There should be ONLY one of each of the above on each page and they should appear in the order shown above after the <!DOCTYPE html> tag. They should also only contain the information relative to each section and each section starts with the for example: <head> the content for the head section... </head> and
<body> the content for the head section... </body> etc.
If any of these are missing then there is an error with your Page Editor as this should be present on ALL HTML pages.
You can either check your page editor in case there is a setting for this, or manually add it to the top of all your pages with a text editor.
These are headings for the page or sections. There should always be a Descriptive <h1> tag on the page and Google and other Search Engines will use this in search results. Normally there should be ONLY 1 <h1> tag on a page but 2 or 3 won't hurt your page's SEO/ADA.
<h2> to <h4> are NOT required but will help your page's as regards SEO.You can also use <h5> and <h6> although these are rarely used.
These will appear in the <body> .. </body> area.
You should have a least 1 <h1> tag to appease Google, more than one is allowed but it is best to keep to one. The contents must be relative to your site and as descriptive as possible. These are normally adjusted in your Site Editor such as Mobirise, and you may need the Code Editor to adjust them.
Too Many or no H1 Tags?
Mobiclean Extreme has a new function to replace any more than 1 <h1> tag with <h2> tags and if no <h1> tag found to make an <h2> tag into a <h1> tag. So it will replace all <h1> tags after the first one on a page with <h2> and if no <h1> found will replace the first <h2> with <h1>.
However you may find the replaced <h1> or replaced <h2> may lose the required formatting after Mobiclean Extreme has updated it.
To fix this in Mobirise select the block that has the <h1> or <h2> tag changed by Mobiclean Extreme and in the CSS area either copy the hi css and paste it further down and change the h1 to h2, or copy the h2 css and paste it below changing the h2 to h1 depending on which tag gets changed e.g. (copy the highlighted in yellow and paste to where highlighted in green and change H1 to H2) Then republish your site and re-process through Mobiclean Extreme. You will only need to do this once. Further republishing will automatically pick the CSS change up.

The function is here in Additional Settings (tick to enable) :

This is required for good SEO/ADA and should be a good title for your page, just Home, About, Contact etc. are NOT good Titles. Titles should ideally be between 50 and 60 characters and there should be ONLY one on each page. A good title would be something like: <title>Welcome to Sanders Primary School Wolverhampton | Home</title>
These will appear in the <head>..</head> area.
If this is missing on your site pages you can add them easily in your Site Editor, in Mobirise you add them in the page settings:
This is a description of your site page and ideally should be between 150 and 160 characters. Best not to use any special characters in the description just plain text and punctuation something like: <meta name="description" content="Sanders Church of England Primary School in Wolverhampton, Boys and Girls from 5yrs to 11yrs, Our School Aims and Vision, and how we started | Home Page">. They can be shorter but should be a good description of the page content. There should be ONLY 1 description meta tag per page.
These will appear in the <head>..</head> area.
If this is missing on your site pages you can add them easily in your Site Editor, in Mobirise you add them in the page settings:
Although Google may not use keywords when the scrape your pages, other bots do so it is important to have them to get in other search engines. They should be words associated with your page and should be between 150 and 255 characters for best effect.
These will appear in the <head>..</head> area.
If this is missing on your site pages you can add them easily in your Site Editor, in Mobirise you add them in the page <head> settings:
This tells the browser what language your page's text is in and is added to the <html> tag near the top of the page.
e.g. for British English then it would look like <html lang="en-gb"> whilst American English would be : <html lang="en-us">.
Acceptable languages can be found here: https://accessibility.psu.edu/foreignlanguages/langtaghtml/
The language attribute is added to the <html> tag.
You can add this with Mobiclean Extreme on the Main Settings Page, and also add the OG tag to the html tag too! See below:
This tells the browser what character set your page uses. UTF-8 is the most common used but others can be used. This Must be on your page.
Other character sets could be: UTF-16, UTF-32, Windows-1252, iso-8859-1 and others but UTF-8 isusually the best choice.
These will appear in the .<head>...</head>. area.
These would normally be added by your Site Editor, if they are not you can add it in Mobiclean Extreme in the Add To Head/Body page in Additional Settings, like:
Amicus Validator Extreme will check how many Mobirise References there are on your page before and after running Mobiclean Extreme.
If you have a Mobirise Formoid Form on your page you will have 1 Mobirise reference on your page after Mobiclean Extreme processing which is in the link on where to submit the form to, otherwise the form won't submit. It will look something like:
<form action="https://mobirise.eu/" method="POST" class="mbr-form form-with-styler" data-form-title="Form Name"></form>
If you have the word Mobirise in your text on your page, these will show as Mobirise references on the pge as well as those in formoid forms.
Each page should have a canonical tag and this will considerably improve your SEO.
This should be in the <head>..</head> area and close to the top of the page.
All pages (including the canonical page) should contain a canonical tag to prevent any possible duplication.
Even if there are no other versions of a page, then that page should still include a canonical tag that links to itself.
Use a canonical tag and a rel=”alternate” tag to signal that a mobile version and a desktop version of the same page should be treated as one entity in search results. Google explains more about this in the Google Developers Mobile Guide.
Using relative URLs in canonical tags can mean that Google will ignore them. As Google explain in their 5 common mistakes with rel=canonical post, using a relative URL in a canonical tag – for example example.com/cupcake.html – implies that the page you want to be indexed in search results is https://example.com/example.com/cupcake.html, which doesn’t make sense.
Remember that Google sees the HTTP/HTTPS and www/non-www version of a URL as a separate page.
You can fix these in Mobiclean Extrene on the Canonical Tags page like:
All Images with tags like above must have an alt and title tag as per the example above.
These will be in the <body>..</body> area.
You can fix these issues with Mobiclean Extreme by setting the options on the Main Settings Page:
Al Form declarations and the fields on a form MUST have a name. Amicus Extreme Validator will identify all forms and form Input, form textarea, form selects etc. without a name tag.
It will also identify Form Fields that do NOT have a placeholder.
A form text area should look something like:
<textarea name="message" placeholder="Message" class="form-control" id="message-text03"></textarea>
Issues on these will need changes in your site editor, in Mobirise you will need to use the Code Editor to set them.
Hidden fields do NOT require the placeholder tags.
Your site should have a sitemap.xml for search bots file correctly formatted, it is a text file formatted in xml format similar to:

This can be created in Mobirise, but Mobiclean Extreme does a better job and gives more options. Click the Generate Sitemap Option to set the sitemap creation and robots.txt creation with the options you select.
Your site should have a robots.txt file for search bots correctly formatted, it is a text file formatted in text format similar to:

See Sitemap details above, the robots.txt is created on the same page as the sitemap.
File names should not have spaces in them, some servers and some older browsers have issues with spaces in file names. Google prefers hyphens (-) instead of spaces but NOT underscores (_). So something like below is best:
https://my-home-patio.html if you can also include your site name this too will help SEO like:
https://my-home-patio-johns-house-com.html
This is easy to fix, just make sure all your filenames in your editor have no spaces. Hyphens (-) are OK, but Underscores (_) are not.
Do NOT use special characters in file names such as apostrophe ('), quotes ("), exclamation marks (!), ambersands (&), question marks (?) etc.
Register your site with Google Analytics and you will be given some code to add to all your page's head etc. that will look something like:

OR:
etc.
You can either add the Google Analytics code in Mobirise in the Site Settings or in Mobiclean Extreme in the Add to head/body page.
In Mobirise add it here:

Very easy to Fix! Simply add more Quality Text to your pages that need it in Mobirise before publishing.
